Abstract
- Biomimetic HAp nanorod/poly(d,l) lactic acid scaffolds were synthesized by solvent casting combined with a salt-leaching method.
- The scaffolds have macropore networks with mean pore sizes of 117-183 μm and high porosity.
- The scaffolds produced flower-like apatite layer after day 7 of soaking in SBF.
- The scaffolds showed better MG 63 cell adhesion, proliferation and distribution with increasing culture days.
