- QA-PEI NPs studied after anchoring in non-leaching polymeric coatings and in aqueous suspension.
- Effectiveness of theses coatings in water containers as self-sterilizing surfaces was demonstrated.
- Coatings with 5% w/w QA-PEI exhibited strong antibacterial activity against four representative bacteria.
- QA-PEI NPs suspension found effective for bacterial decontamination at 0.1Â ppm for several weeks.
