Abstract
- The 5CB droplets were functionalized with PAA-b-LCP using microfluidic technique.
- The PAA chains on the 5CB droplets were biotinylated using chemical coupling agents.
- The 5CBPAA-biotin droplets were tested for the avidin complexation.
- The complexation was characterized by radial to bipolar orientation transition of the 5CB.
- The 5CBPAA-biotin droplets were found to have specific affinity toward avidin.
