Abstract
- Pseudomonas sp. strain ADP was immobilized within LDH network by a simple, quick and ecofriendly direct coprecipitation approach.
- The ratio between biological and inorganic components can be easily tuned thanks to this approach.
- The cell viability and the conservation of the biological activity within the biohybrid were evidenced.
- An enhanced atrazine degradation rate was achieved by immobilized bacteria compared to free cells.
- The ADP@LDH biohybrid maintains the same biological activity after four cycles of reutilization and 3 weeks storage at 4 °C.
