Abstract
- Multifunctional drug nanocarriers were synthesized using PAMAM, βCD, PEG and cyclic RGD peptide.
- Doxorubicin (Dox) was effectively encapsulated in the nanoparticles via an inclusion complex.
- The cellular uptake of cRGD-conjugated nanopartilces was higher than that of non-targeted nanoparticles.
- The anti-proliferative effect of targeted Dox was superior to that of non-targeted Dox.
