Abstract
- Gradual hypotonic hemolysis has no effect on ghosts' size and size distribution.
- Preserved protein and cholesterol composition of ghosts are reported.
- Phosphatidylserine expression is higher in porcine than bovine erythrocyte ghosts.
- Dex is loaded into the ghosts of both animal species by gradual hypotonic hemolysis.
