Abstract
- The surface of PLGA scaffolds was immobilized with 26SCS (S-PLGA scaffolds).
- S-PLGA scaffolds were more favorable for cell attachment due to the improvement of surface hydrophilicity by immobilized 26SCS.
- The electrostatic interaction between 26SCS and rhBMP-2 leads to the desirable controlled release of rhBMP-2.
- The bioactivity of rhBMP-2 was significantly enhanced by its synergistic effect with 26SCS.
