Abstract
- Apatite gene transfer layers with immobilized DNA-lipid (DLp) complexes were prepared.
- The layer molecular composition was varied by tuning the coprecipitation conditions.
- A DLp content of approximately 10 μg/cm2 provided maximum gene transfer efficiency.
- Layers with similar DLp contents exhibited different gene transfer efficiencies.
- Both the DLp content and molecular ratio may affect gene transfer efficiency.
