Abstract
- Titanium oxide surfaces were modified via a simple dip coating process.
- Multivalent anchored polyglycerol monolayer coatings were developed for antifouling.
- The intra-layer crosslinking enhanced the long-term stability of the coatings.
- A suitable amount of the anchors and crosslinkers were identified.
- The stable monolayer effectively prevented protein adsorption and cell adhesion.
