Abstract
- Secondary stabilization of Coll-I coated Mg-Zr-Ca implant has been demonstrated.
- The implant stability is enhanced by a phenomenon of contact osteogenesis.
- We prove that implant stabilization is a time dependent factor.
- These changes are due to modified surface properties resulting from Coll-I coating.
