Abstract
- Transport of adenovirus (HAdV) and MS2 in sand porous media were investigated.
- The removal of HAdV became higher than MS2 as the ionic strength (IS) increased.
- DLVO profiles support the hypothesis of enhanced HAdV attachment by its long fiber.
- Close to 90% of MS2 propagated by E. coli Famp were associated with pili residues.
- p-MS2 can be removed by 0.05 μm membrane filtration.
