Abstract
The transparency of zein films could be improved after treated at 121 °C, 100% relative humidity. The left column is tested when the films are in dry state. The right column is tested after swelling. The first row is untreated zein film and the second row is treated zein film. Triangles represent pure zein, squares represent 3% oleic acid addition, diamonds represent 3% glycerol addition.
