Abstract
- Tumor targeting, thermosensitive, DOX-encapsulating liposomes (RELs) were prepared.
- The stability of RELs was maintained up to 12Â h without the loss of thermosensitivity.
- RELs delivered DOX to tumor cells 8-fold better than non-targeting liposome did.
- RELs can efficiently kill tumor cells through cRGD targeting and thermal triggering.
- RELs can be effectively accumulated in tumor tissue when injected into mice.
