Abstract
- NLCs of lercanidipine HCl were formulated using solvent evaporation technique.
- NLCs showed particle size 214.47 ± 0.3 nm and entrapment efficiency 71.576 ± 2.5%.
- In vitro study demonstrated that the drug remains entrapped in NLCs at acidic pH.
- Ex vivo study showed enhanced drug release up to 60.54% at pH 7.4 in 24Â h.
- In vivo pharmacodynamics showed controlled release of lercanidipine HCl from NLCs.
