Abstract
- Two different formulations of nanosized spherical hydrogels were obtained.
- A hydrophobic anticancer drug (PTX) was successfully encapsulated into nanohydrogels.
- In vitro drug release from nanogels was pH and redox stimuli-responsive.
- Nanogel uptake into three different cancer cell lines took place.
- Drug-loaded nanogels caused cell cycle arrest in G2-M phase as drug in solution.
