Abstract
- A straightforward modification makes the surface of the γ-Fe2O3@SiO2 particles suitable for coupling biological compounds.
- GOx is immobilized covalently on the surface of γ-Fe2O3@SiO2.
- The combination of enzymes and γ-Fe2O3@SiO2 permits obtaining bioreactors easily to recover and with high enzymatic activity and stability.
