Abstract
- Soil iron and aluminum minerals showed great affinity for the laccase.
- Adsorbed laccases retained 26-64% of the activity of the free enzyme, and showed increased Km values and decreased Vmax values versus the free laccase.
- Mineral adsorption enhanced catalytic activity of laccase under extra acid conditions and decreased the thermal stability.
- Mineral adsorption increased Ea and ÎHa values of laccase.
- Mineral adsorption improved the resistance to proteolysis and extended the lifespan of laccase.
