Abstract
- Osteoblasts on NH2 have the highest ATP, NO and PGE2 release to physiological FSS.
- Osteoblasts on NH2 produce the best focal adhesions (FAs) and F-actin.
- Inhibition of FAs and/or F-actin decreased PGE2, NO, and/or ATP release.
- NH2 is the optimal combination of substrate chemistry with physiological FSS.
