Abstract
- The effect of solubilization of butanol in aqueous F127 solution has been studied.
- Viscosity of the F127 solution is found to increase upon solubilization of butanol.
- This leads to reduction in gelation concentration of F127 solution from 15% to 9%.
- The behavior is attributed to butanol-induced enhancement in micellar solvation.
