Abstract
- Biopolymers as bioadsorbent materials are interesting, since they are more economical, and environmentally friendly.
- Proteinaceous nanofibril coagulant shown that was an effective material for decolorizing azo dyes from aqueous solutions.
- High efficiency of nanofibril to remove dye was due to its well dispersion in the aqueous solutions, and slower rates of the coagulation process.
- Proteinaceous nanofibril was stable at high temperature and ionic strength and in these conditions rate of dye removal was induced significantly.
