Abstract
Biomimetic nanoparticles for immunorecognition. PNIPAM-based nanoparticles were conjugated with a Protein L mimetic ligand. The synthesized biomimetic particles were shown to bind selectively to IgG molecules. These immunoparticles can further assemble into more complex structures by specific recognition of other proteins (antigens or antibodies) free or bound, for example, to cell receptors.
