Abstract
- Based on emulsion templating, uniform tricalcium phosphate beads with highly open pores were prepared using a simple fluidic device.
- The large pore size and good interconnectivity of the porous TCP beads facilitated the penetration of host tissue into the pores.
- The porous TCP beads can be used as an injectable material for bone tissue engineering.
