Abstract
- Raloxifene HCl (RH) was loaded into solid lipid nanoparticles using double emulsion method.
- A mixture of aqueous and organic solvents was employed as W1 phase of double emulsion system.
- Nanoparticles were formed with mean particle size of 180Â nm and loading efficiency of 4.5%.
- Release studies were performed by measuring the remained entrapped drug instead of dissolved drug amount.
- Antiproliferative studies revealed that SLNs could provide more cytotoxic effects in comparison with free drug.
