Abstract
- A. fatua is a cost-efficient, non hazardous material for removal of heavy metals.
- Biosorption of Cu(II), Zn(II); Cd(II) and Pb(II) by A. fatua biomass were studied.
- The effect of Cu(II), Zn(II); Cd(II) and Pb(II) onto A. fatua growth were studied.
- Pseudo-second order describes the adsorption kinetic data.
- The adsorption capacity was best described by Langmuir model.
