Abstract
⺠PQ10-PFDA association is set by electrostatic interaction. ⺠In the region of 1:0.5 ammonium:carboxylic group molar ratio the complex form strong hydrogels. ⺠Hydrogel structure is maintained in a wide range of conditions. ⺠Hydrogel also presents an unexpected increased mucoadhesion properties.
