Abstract
► The adsorption of fibronectin on a grooved nanostructure was investigated. ► At low concentrations fibronectin preferentially adsorbed in the grooves. ► The amount of adsorbed protein per surface area was increased on the nanostructure. ► The increased protein density led to a higher degree of native fibronectin. ► At high concentrations fibronectin was uniformly distributed across the topography.
