Abstract
⺠Proteins and amino acids are gaining wide attention due to their superior role in the growth of metal nanoparticles. ⺠Kinetics of silver nanoparticles formation were studied spectrophotometrically. ⺠All the results indicate cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and tyrosine acted as shape-directing agents in addition to stabilizing and reducing agents, respectively.
