Abstract
Two types of DLC-based composite coatings prepared by spinning high-performance lubricants (multialkylated cyclopentanes (MACs), ionic liquids (ILs) and hybrid MACs greases with ZDDP/MoDTC) on the diamond-like carbon (DLC) films possess the excellent friction-reducing and anti-wear behaviors and good adaptive abilities to service environments for achieving a long-term safe and reliable operation under high vacuum, depending on the solid/liquid synergies with superior qualities.248
