Abstract
⺠Friction measurements are correlated to the perception of grip. ⺠The friction between skin and polymer samples is measured using a haptic test device. ⺠The limits of transferability of the friction coefficient on perception are shown. ⺠Topography, hardness, skin moisture and age have effects on grippiness perception.
