Abstract
► Submicrometric Diamond films were grown on Ti-13Nb-13Zr and Gum metal using HFCVD method. ► Gum metal (∼200 nm) posses higher grain size compare to Ti-13Nb-13Zr (∼100 nm). ► Ra and RMS values of diamond coated Gum metal was higher compared to Ti-13Nb-13Zr. ► Diamond coated Gum metal possesses higher compressive stress (5.45 GPa). ► Corrosion and wear studies provide higher performance to Diamond coated Gum metal.
