Abstract
⺠Three different materials, used in EVAR prosthesis, were analysed in terms of wear. ⺠ePTFE, PET and PET-LP materials were compared by the Martindale method. ⺠ePTFE surface is smashed forming a continuous layer reducing porosity. ⺠PET exhibited large abrasion areas with extensive fracture of the filaments. ⺠PET-LP presents a lower roughness, reducing friction and increasing wear resistance.
