Abstract
⺠The particle size, density and concentration have significant influences on erosions. ⺠Particle size had little influences on the shielding effect. ⺠The particle solid density had a much more significant influence on the shielding effect. ⺠A new model in term of “erosion resistance” gives more meaningful results of specific erosion. ⺠It is recommended that the specific erosion rate is more important than the shielding effect.
