Abstract
⺠The thickness effect of TPU coating on solid particle erosion has been characterized. ⺠Our experiment results showed that the best thickness is around 0.75 mm. ⺠Finite element simulations were carried out to explain the thickness effect. ⺠Thermal effect causes the increase of erosion rate as thickness further increases.
