Abstract
⺠Porcelain coating of zirconia dental crowns affects tooth/crown wear behavior. ⺠Coating results in increased wear of the artificial crown and of opposing teeth. ⺠No significant wear was detected for uncoated zirconia plates. ⺠Crowns' coating should be avoided in occlusal dental surfaces.
