Abstract
⺠Tool wear patterns in dry and wet turning of Inconel 718 were analyzed. ⺠The feasibility of dry turning with two types of inserts was proved. ⺠Different wear patterns were observed: notching, chipping, BUE and flank wear. ⺠Notch wear was especially significant due to high work hardening of the Ni alloy.
