Abstract
► The maximum cumulative erosion rate ERmax varied with the nozzle geometry. ► The erosion time to reach ERmax is approximately proportional to the reciprocal of ERmax. ► The relative cavitation erosion resistances of material RER were independent of the nozzle geometry. ► The ERmax is defined by RER and the aggressive intensity IJ of the cavitating jet.
