Abstract
⺠The maximum cumulative erosion rate ERmax varied with the nozzle geometry. ⺠The erosion time to reach ERmax is approximately proportional to the reciprocal of ERmax. ⺠The relative cavitation erosion resistances of material RER were independent of the nozzle geometry. ⺠The ERmax is defined by RER and the aggressive intensity IJ of the cavitating jet.
