Abstract
► This research focused on the difference in wear behavior among grades of PEEK. ► This is one of the first studies to look at multidirectional sliding of PEEK materials. ► Contact pressure and molecular weight had a significant impact on PEEK wear. ► Supplier did not have a direct impact on wear, except at high contact pressure. ► Transfer films were measured and found to have no strong correlation to wear.
