Abstract
⺠The addition of Mo2C could improve the erosion resistance of Ti(C, N)-based cermets. ⺠The surface erosion of Ti(C, N)-based cermets increases with time. ⺠Microcracks, fracture, debonding and corrosion of the binder are observed. ⺠Microcracks and fracture decrease with increasing Mo2C content. ⺠Particle debonding increases with increasing Mo2C content.
