Abstract
⺠Shortcomings have been identified in existing computational wear models. ⺠A new wear-prediction algorithm is presented to overcome these limitations. ⺠New model is scale-sensitive and casuality-compliant. ⺠Able to predict wear results of recent pin-on-disc experiments. ⺠Good predictive power (R2 â¼Â 0.65) for large cohort of implant wear simulations.
