Abstract
⺠Residual silicon is harmful to friction and wear properties of C/C-SiC composites. ⺠The residual silicon is replaced by the in situ formed Ti3SiC2. ⺠The wear resistance and friction stable coefficient are improved. ⺠The film-like debris of Ti3SiC2 leads to the excellent wear resistance.
