Abstract
⺠HNO3 treatment (30-180 min) to carbon fabric led to changes in surface topography. ⺠Treatment proved beneficial for adhesive wear performance of composites. ⺠90 min treated CF composites (C90) showed highest strength properties. ⺠Highest wear resistance and lowest μ was observed for C90 composites. ⺠A good correlation was observed for wear resistance and ILSS of composites.
