Abstract
⺠NiAl, NiAl-Cr-Mo alloy and NiAl matrix composites with addition of oxides (ZnO/CuO) were fabricated by powder metallurgy route. ⺠Incorporation of Cr(Mo) improved mechanical properties and tribological properties at high temperatures. ⺠NiAl matrix composite with addition of CuO exhibited the self-lubricating performance at 800 °C. ⺠NiAl matrix composite with addition of ZnO showed the lowest wear rate at 1000 °C.
