Abstract
⺠Macrophyte biomass was activated by Fenton process. ⺠Zn2+ adsorption capacity was 78 % higher than by raw biomass. ⺠Adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic. ⺠Adsorption kinetics was rapid and fitted the pseudo-second order model.
