Abstract
âºThis paper examines various media when loaded with low-strength wastewater. âºBiofilm formation in polishing filters occurs mainly in the uppermost filter layer. âºVolumetric water content can be used to determine biofilm build-up in filters. âºVolumetric water content eliminates the need for destructive sampling of filters.
