Abstract
The crosslinked PEI separator was prepared via electrospinning and in-situ micro-melting technique. The crosslinking structure converts the loose and weak PEI nonwoven to compact and robust fabric, improving the tensile strength and reducing the risk of fiber disassembly into the loose nonwovens during long-term battery cycling. Additionally, the crosslinked PEI separator has thermal shutdown function, which can protect the Lithium-ion battery at high temperature.281
