Abstract
⸠Plasmid DNA (pDNA) recovery from fermentation broths was investigated. ⸠High plasmid recovery yields were obtained by microfiltration, after cell lysis. ⸠Small fragments of genomic DNA (gDNA) re-dissolved from the suspended solids. ⸠pDNA was purified from RNA, proteins and the gDNA fragments by ultrafiltration. ⸠Permeation of pDNA, RNA and gDNA fragments was modeled on a theoretical basis.
