Abstract
▸ Higher breaking rate during coagulation led to smaller ultrafiltration flux. ▸ Alb produced flocs with slight changes in properties under increased shear. ▸ Coagulant with less Alb led to severer flux reduction under increased shear. ▸ Rc and Ra for UF were mainly dependent on floc size and structure, respectively. ▸ Extension of breakage time reduced the flux mainly due to the increase of Rc.
