Abstract
⸠Thin Pd/PSS membranes were fabricated with high H2 permeance and high selectivity. ⸠Membranes were tested under mixed gas and WGS conditions for up to 900 h. ⸠Use of a Pd-membrane in the WGS reactor allowed for stable H2 recovery of 85%. ⸠Leak growth in the Pd-layer occurred gradually via the pinhole formation mechanism.
