Abstract
▸ SMM was used to improve the surface hydrophobicity of PVDF HFM. ▸ Average pore size and contact angle increased by adding SMM in the spinning dope. ▸ Fabricated PVDF HFMs were used in contactor application for CO2 absorption. ▸ CO2 flux of the hollow fiber increased by surface modification. ▸ CO2 flux decline by partial pore wetting was reduced by surface modification.
