Abstract
⸠Zn/MCM-41/air cell, in the absence of electrolyte, revealed a humidity sensing behavior. ⸠Cell's OCV was found responsive and distinctive to humidity variation. ⸠Unlike common capacitive humidity sensors, Zn/MCM-41/air electrochemical sensor does not require external power to operate.
